About Us

The Party Wall Consultancy is a niche practice of consultant Party Wall Surveyors set up in 2009 to specialise in Party Wall matters and associated issues arising under the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.  This principally concerns fulfilling a statutory appointment under the Act to administer the resolution of  'disputes' arising between owners, but also advising on the applicability of the Act in relation to works proposed by Building Owners.

We are appointed on Party Wall matters concerning both residential and commercial property throughout Southern England in both the public and private sector.  Our head office is based in Bristol, which rather fittingly was the only other British city outside London to have its own Party Wall legislation prior to the 1996 Act.  The Bristol office covers the South West, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and Oxfordshire and our Guildford office covers Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire.
